The Opportunity
We are looking for Merchant Account Management Executive / Senior Executive to join our team to manage and support our existing car workshop and takaful agency merchant network. We launched our auto service financing in March 2022 which enables car owners to obtain financing to pay for their essential car repairs at the workshop and in 2025, we launched takaful premium financing to help renewal of takaful & roadtax on instalment.
Since then, we have over 2,000 merchants signed up across the country and helped over 35,000 car owners to repair/ services their car or renew takaful affordably. In addition, Direct Lending also offer business financing to our panel workshops to support their business growth.
We are looking for someone who is result-driven, has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, able to build good working relationships with business partners and has a good commercial sense of identifying new business opportunities.

What Will You Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchant partners by proactively understanding their business challenges and finding solutions to address their needs.
- Execute campaigns with merchants to help grow merchants' businesses.
- Help identify new business opportunities that will deliver win-win solutions for merchant partners and the company.
- Work closely with the marketing, credit, product development and technology team to ensure alignment of account management efforts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential business opportunities.
Are You The One
- Minimum 1 year experience in a account management or business development role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth for the business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage
- Willingness to travel for visiting merchant partners, client meetings and industry events.
